Bivins

The Bivins Cemetery has been added to the new cemetery website at www.rmoberly.com/cemetery

Located in the center of Section 1, township 23n, range 13E, on land belonging to Mr. Coast. There is a very poor trail out to the cemetery which has been abandoned for so many years that there are but three stones left than can be made out, but there are at least a dozen sunken graves.  The lay of the land and the shrubs and trees indicate that the cemetery at one time was a rather extensive size and there must be quiet a few graves that are no longer recognizable as such.  A few bodies were moved from this cemetery to the Ramona Cemetery
